Overseers

What is an Overseer?

A spiritually mature leader who, in mutual submission with the lead pastor, stewards the NCC mission, implements the NCC vision, and guards against the weakening of NCC’s core values. Through monthly meetings, the overseers are tasked with advancing God’s Kingdom in our local setting by evaluating and embracing challenges unique to NCC, developing effective ministry strategies, and executing a God-glorifying plan to foster NCC’s preferred future. Each overseer is vetted in the areas of Calling, Responsibility, Availability, Faithfulness, and Teachability.
