SERVING WITH COMPASSION
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger, and you invited me in,”
– Matthew 25:35
NCC Community Food Ministry serves individuals and families in our local community who are facing food insecurity through two programs. Through the generous support of local community partners, church members, and volunteers, we provide essential groceries, encouragement, and prayer to those in need.

Backpack Program
NCC Backpack outreach provides nutritious, child-friendly food to over 100 Loyalsock Township Schick Elementary students who are food-insecure. Through this program, children can be assured they do not have to go hungry over the weekend. Our volunteer team packs and delivers a weekend backpack to each qualified child on each Friday, including 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches.
